HealthJibe Connection Types

• Device: HealthJibe supports a number of biometric and activity monitoring devices including the Withings™ body scale and blood pressure monitor, the Fitbit™ activity monitor, and Wellness Connected™ devices from A&D Medical. Connecting these devices to your HealthJibe account allows for the automatic logging of biometric and activity data to any HMS connected to your HealthJibe account.
• HIS: a health information service is a an application, system, or other source of your PHI. Examples include your doctor's electronic health record system, a pharmacy system, or mobile health application such as motionPHR. Also Twitter can be linked as an HIS to your HealthJibe account and allows you to "tweet" PHI commands to any HMS connected to your HealthJibe account.
• HMS: A health management service, such as Microsoft HealthVault™ or Dossia™, is a repository containing your personal health information (PHI). HealthJibe allows you to connect to any number of HMS accounts and can analyze the PHI in your HMS records to determine yor health status.
